In the fresh air in the green surroundings of the landscape park Tivoli, Rožnik and Šišenski hrib, many outdoor sports grounds offer recreation in contact with nature: the Goran Dragic #PODAMDAIGRAM basketball court, a skate park, a roller-skating rink, a bowling alley, a small bounce football pitch, a mini-golf course, a volleyball court, a handball court or a small football pitch, a basketball court, a badminton court, and a tennis practice wall.
#PODAMDAIGRAM basketball court
With one of the best Slovenian basketball players of all time, Goran Dragić, in 2019 the first Smart Playground, which combines exercise and educational content, was opened on a renovated basketball court. The most special feature of the basketball court surrounded by mighty trees are the information boards with basic and advanced basketball drills designed by Goran Dragić. All the exercises are enriched with interactive content, which users can access via QR codes via a mobile sports and education app. The platform aims to keep young people as physically active as possible, even in today’s digital age, which is why we want to combine sport, education, and fun through a variety of sports and educational content and the use of modern digital tools.
Tivoli Roller Skating Rink
The Tivoli Park features a roller-skating rink between the tennis courts and the entrance to the Tivoli Swimming Pool Complex. Next to the roller-skating rink there are benches for resting or watching the skaters, as well as a food and drink bar.
Tivoli Skatepark
For young people to spend quality time, there is an 800 m2 large skateboard park near the Tivoli Swimming Pool Complex, which is designed in accordance with Olympic norms and was conceptualised by the best Slovenian skateboarder Timotej Lampe Ignjič.
All of these sports grounds are free to use. Please send an enquiry if you would like to book a date for a private group.
