Accessibility

The Public Institution for Sport Ljubljana is committed to ensuring the accessibility of the website https://www.sport-ljubljana.si/en/ in accordance with the Slovenian Act on Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications to all users.

Accessibility Statement

This accessibility statement applies to the website https://www.sport-ljubljana.si/en/.

To meet accessibility requirements, certain adjustments have been systematically implemented, such as:

  • font size increases for multiple levels and changing font type,
  • keyboard navigation (adjustments for users who cannot use a mouse),
  • readable font optionse,
  • background color selection,
  • underlining links,
  • removal of animations.

DEGREE OF COMPLIANCE

The website https://www.sport-ljubljana.si/en/ is partially compliant with the Act on Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications due to the exceptions listed below.

INACCESSIBLE CONTENT

The accessibility of the website https://www.sport-ljubljana.si/en/ is continuously monitored, and individual accessibility elements are being improved. Nevertheless, some published content does not meet all accessibility requirements as stipulated by the Act on Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications.

Examples of such content include:

  • scanned documents in PDF format (signed internal acts of the institution, annual reports, official documents, etc.),
  • various complex tables with data in PDF format (e.g., price lists),
  • promotional materials in PDF format (e.g., Corpo catalog Center Stožice and Park Tivoli),
  • organizational chart of the Public Institution Sport Ljubljana.

The listed files do not fully meet the accessibility requirements due to disproportionate burden. Since in some cases these are original and accepted documents, adapting the content for accessibility purposes would mean altering original documents. The institution cannot and should not interfere with the content of already accepted documents, which may also have the status of archival material. Ensuring accessibility by altering the original format of the document would not provide additional benefits for users with various disabilities, as the essential information comes from the accessible content of the document.

Price lists also do not fully meet accessibility requirements, as they consist of complex tables containing a large number of items. In this form, they have been approved in Council sessions and are therefore published as official documents. Items significant for users are listed in accordance with accessibility requirements. Nonetheless, we strive to ensure that all our content is as accommodating as possible for potential users belonging to vulnerable groups. We will continue to adjust the price lists and attempt to rectify accessibility deficiencies to the greatest extent possible.

Promotional materials are published in their original format and constitute copyrighted work. They are highlighted for the purpose of providing information to a specific professional audience (event organizers). All other information collected from promotional materials is also provided on the website in a format that meets accessibility requirements.
Accessible Alternatives: assistance in understanding instructions, reports, and other texts for vulnerable groups is offered by employees of Sport Ljubljana at the phone number: (+386) 01 430 68 45 or via email at: info@sport-ljubljana.si.
