The new Vižmarje Brod sports hall is located next to the Vižmarje Brod Primary School. In addition to the gym, there is a sports field, a platform and a parking lot with 120 parking spaces.
The large hall and accompanying facilities are located on the basement floor and comprise an area of 1.400 m2 (47,5 x 29,5 m). The ground floor comprises stands and classrooms, while the mezzanine floor houses a multi-purpose hall with an area of 300 m2 (28 x 11 m) and accompanying facilities. There are six changing rooms with showers on the lower floor, one changing room on the ground floor and two changing rooms with showers on the mezzanine floor. The hall features a state-of-the-art sound system and LED lighting with up to 1,000 lux. The grandstand area offers space for 600 spectators.
In the mornings, the hall is reserved for the Vižmarje Brod Primary School, while in the afternoons it is used by recreational sports enthusiasts and users of the Annual Sports Programme (ASP). The modern sports hall, which makes a significant contribution to physical activity in the local community, is also used for the organisation of competitions and events.
